Cookie policy.

We use cookies sparingly — only what's required to keep you logged in and the product working.

1What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They help us recognize you between page loads and keep you logged in. Some data we store is not technically a cookie but lives in your browser's localStorage — it functions the same way from your perspective.

2Cookies we use

Essential

  • Supabase auth session cookies — required to keep you logged in. Without these, you can't access your account.

Functional

  • Theme preference (dark / light) — stored in localStorage.
  • Sidebar collapsed state — stored in localStorage.
  • Dashboard view preference (table / kanban / calendar) — stored in localStorage.

Analytics

  • None currently. We are evaluating privacy-respecting analytics (like Plausible). If we add analytics, we will update this page and notify you in advance.

Third-party

  • Stripe sets cookies on their checkout and billing portal pages to process payments and prevent fraud.
  • Google sets cookies during the OAuth flow when you connect your Google account. These are managed by Google, not us.

3How to manage cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies from the browser settings menu. If you block essential cookies you won't be able to log in to MatchKo.

To clear MatchKo's functional preferences, clear localStorage for matchko.com in your browser's developer tools.

4Do Not Track

We respect Do Not Track (DNT) signals. If your browser sends a DNT signal, we will not load any non-essential scripts or analytics tools on your session.
